I am 28 years old and happily married. I am thankful every day for my wonderful husband. Other than my
grandmother, he is the best support system I have. He stands by me no matter
what path I choose and he allows me to follow my dreams. We have no children
yet, but we have a wonderful Bichon
named Napoleon and a Shih-Tzu named Deja who keep us laughing daily.
I grew up in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It was there where I got my first real job at age 14. I worked for Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction where I took souvenir photographs. I started borrowing some of the camera equipment to take home and practice taking different kinds of photos as photography had really started to peek my interest. During my course of employment there, I was meritoriously promoted to Lab Tech where I operated the photo lab machinery. Just one year later I was promoted to Manager in the Photography department. I pretty much taught myself most things while working there for three years then decided to move on at age 17 and make some bigger bucks modeling. But unfortunately, I left my passion behind. I was on the wrong side of the camera! My modeling career was short lived as I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I just felt like something was missing, like I should be the one taking photos instead of photos being taken of me. After several long years, and moving to a foreign country (Japan), I picked up where I left off at age 17 and have now established a successful photography business which is Internationally recognized. I have spent the last three years (from 2005-2008) working and studying abroad in Japan while my husband served as a U.S. Marine. Living in another country was a gratifying experience which allowed me to learn a different culture, a different language and photograph some of the most amazing people, sites and architecture. If you haven't
done so already, please take a peek at some of my work by clicking the
"galleries" button. My photographs pretty much speak for themselves so I won't
even TRY to sell you on them. I'm not a salesman, make-up artist or even a hair
dresser..... I'm a photographer.
